Birleşmiş Milletler (BM) Yakın Doğu'daki Filistinli Mültecilere Yardım ve Bayındırlık Ajansı (UNRWA), İsrail'in yardımların girişini engellediği Gazze'de, 50 bin çocuğun akut yetersiz beslenme nedeniyle tedaviye ihtiyaç duyduğunu bildirdi
UNRWA'nın X sosyal medya hesabından, İsrail'in 7 Ekim'den bu yana büyük bir insanlık felaketine yol açtığı Gazze'deki çocukların durumuna ilişkin paylaşım yapıldı.
Paylaşımda, Gazze'de 50 bin çocuğun akut yetersiz beslenme nedeniyle tedaviye ihtiyacının olduğu, insani yardımların Gazze'ye girişine yönelik kısıtlamaların devam etmesi nedeniyle Gazze'deki insanların "korkunç boyutlarda açlıkla" karşı karşıya kalmaya devam ettiği belirtildi.
UNRWA ekiplerinin ailelere yardım ulaştırmak için durmaksızın çalıştığı ancak Gazze'deki durumun felaket boyutlarında olduğu vurgulanan paylaşımda, ateşkes çağrısında da bulunuldu.
İsrail'in 7 Ekim'den bu yana Gazze Şeridi'ne düzenlediği saldırılarda en az 15 bin 694'ü çocuk, 10 bin 279'u kadın olmak üzere 37 bin 296 Filistinli öldürüldü, 85 bin 197 kişi yaralandı.
Enkaz altında halen binlerce ölü olduğu bildirilirken, halkın sığındığı hastane ve eğitim kurumları hedef alınarak sivil altyapı da tahrip ediliyor.
