Adıyaman'ın Gölbaşı ilçesinde, milattan sonra 4. yüzyıldan kalma mozaik yapı bulundu.
Alınan bilgiye göre Gölbaşı ilçesine bağlı Çakmak Mahallesi'nde, tarlalarında çalışma yapan Kemal ve Mehmet A. kardeşler, Roma dönemine ait mozaik yapı buldu.
Kardeşlerin durumu jandarmaya bildirmesi üzerine ekipler, tarlaya gelerek inceleme yaptı.
İncelemenin ardından mozaik yapı Adıyaman Müze Müdürlüğüne teslim edildi. Müze Müdürlüğüne bağlı arkeologlar tarafından yapının yaklaşık 1600 yıllık olduğu belirlendi.
