Beyşehir Belediyesi İmar ve Şehircilik Müdürlüğü’nden yapılan yazılı açıklamada, imara uygun yapılaşma ve kent estetiği konusunda oldukça hassas çalışıldığına vurgu yapılırken, inşaat yapmak için kuruma müracaat edenlere hızlı bir şekilde yardımcı olunduğuna dikkat çekildi. Açıklamada, yeni inşaatlar ve konutların yükselmesinin, istihdamın ve nüfusun atmasını da beraberinde getirdiğine işaret edildi. Yapılan açıklamada, “Belediyemizin bir yılda verdiği ruhsat sayısı her yıl artarken, bu konudaki istatistiki veriler de ilçemizdeki yapılaşmanın hızını ortaya koymaktadır. Sağlıklı şekilde hazırlanan ve uygulanan imar çalışmaları sonrasında, ilçemizde yükselen inşaat ve iskan sayısında giderek artış yaşanıyor. Yeni Büyükşehir Belediyesi Yasası ile birlikte başlayan yeni süreçte, planlı şehirleşme ve yapılaşma konusunda daha ciddi adımlar atan bir kurum haline geldik. Şehrimiz her geçen gün gelişip güzelleşmektedir. Bu çerçevede, Beyşehir Belediyesi olarak geçtiğimiz yılın 12 aylık döneminde 245 yapıya ruhsat, 194 kişiye de birimimiz tarafından yapı kullanma izin belgesi verilmiştir. Aynı dönemde, 10 yapı için kırsal yapı belgesi düzenlenmiş olup, 4 yapıya da kırsal yapı kullanma izni verilmiştir. 2016 yılında ayrıca İmar ve Şehircilik Müdürlüğü olarak 61 yapı hakkında yanan yıkılan yapı formu düzenlenmiştir” denildi.
