Tokat Onbeşli Torunları Derneği Başkanı ve gazi torunu Saffet Gümüş, Çanakkale Zaferi'nin 108'inci yılında şehitler anısına, İstanbul'dan Çanakkale'ye başlattığı yürüyüşte Gelibolu'ya ulaştı
'Torundan Dedeye Vefa Yürüyüşü'nün bu yıl 5'incisine, 4 Mart'ta İstanbul Bağcılar’dan başlatan Tokat Onbeşli Torunları Derneği Başkanı Saffet Gümüş, Tekirdağ Malkara ilçesi ve Edirne'nin Keşan ilçesinin ardından yürüyüşün 9'uncu gününde önce Gelibolu'ya ulaştı. Gazi torunu Gümüş'ü Gelibolu'nun Bolayır köyü girişinde Bolayır Muhtarı Adnan Can, Gelibolu Kastamonulular Dernek Başkanı Murat Çatal, Başkan Yardımcısı Necati Sevin ve yönetim kurulu üyesi Murat Aydemir karşıladı.
'Torundan Dedeye Vefa Yürüyüşü' diyerek 5 yıldır yürüyen Saffet Gümüş, Gazi Süleyman Paşa ve Namık Kemal'in Bolayır köyündeki mezarlarını ziyaret edip, dua etti. "Yolumuz, şehitler yolu; Çanakkale yoludur. Şehitlerimize borcumuz çok" diyen Saffet Gümüş, "İstanbul Bağcılar'dan başladığımız bu kutlu yürüyüşte, 9 günün sonunda Türklerin ilk ayak basmış olduğu Gelibolu Bolayır köyüne kadar ulaşabildik. Şehitler yolunda Çanakkale'ye yürümeye devam edeceğim" dedi.
Bolayır Muhtarı Adnan Can da 'Torundan Dedeye Vefa Yürüyüşü'nün 9'uncu gününde Gelibolu'ya gelen Saffet Gümüş'ün köylerine uğramasının kendilerini onurlandırdığını söyledi.
Geceyi Gelibolu'da geçiren Saffet Gümüş, bu sabah Çanakkale yürüyüşü kapsamında Eceabat ilçesine gitmek üzere yola çıktı.
