Ereğli Belediye Başkanı Özkan Özgüven, belediye başkan yardımcıları ve birim müdürleri ile birlikte sahadaki çalışmaları gezerek bilgi aldı. Özgüven, Eti Mahallesinde 6 bin metrekarelik bir alana park yapım çalışmasına başlayacaklarını ifade ederek, modern park alanları ile şehre nefes aldıracaklarını ifade etti.Parkların şehirlerin kimliği ile örtüştüğünü söyleyen Özgüven, “Eti mahallesinde yaptığımız proje ile vatandaşlarımızın hem dinlenebileceği, hem de sosyal aktivitelerle vakit geçirebileceği park çalışmasına kısa bir süre içerisinde başlayacağız. Gelişen, büyüyen ve değişen Ereğli’mize kalıcı ve kaliteli hizmet sunmak en büyük amacımızdır. Park içerisinde oyun grupları, spor aletleri, spor sahası, havuz, kamelya, yürüyüş yolu gibi çeşitli hizmetler yer alacak” dedi.Toros Mahallesine ise mesire alanı yapacaklarını vurgulayan Özgüven, “Toros Mahallesinde yaklaşık 20 dönüm alanı mesire alanı yapacağız. İçerisinde sosyal donatı alanlarının da olacağı mesire alanı projesi üzerinde çalışıyoruz ve kısa sürede tamamlayarak çalışmalarımıza başlayacağız. Bölge halkımızın nefes alacağı mesire alanı ve Eti Mahallesine yapacağımız parkın şimdiden hayırlı olmasını diliyorum” diye konuştu.
