Rus haber ajansı Ria Novosti'de yer alan habere göre, Kırgızistan Cumhurbaşkanı Almazbek Atambayev, Türkiye'nin Rus Su-24 uçağını vurma kararının hata olduğunu, Ankara'nın özür dilemesi gerektiğini söyledi.Atambayev, yaptığı açıklamalarda, "Türkiye'nin bu tür Radikal önleme gitmemesi gerektiğini en başta söylemiştik. Bu trajik bir hataydı, bu hem Türk hem de Rus halkı için bir sorun" dedi.
Habere göre Atambayev şu şekilde devam etti:
"Bu konu hakkında Vladimir Putin ile görüştük. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ile görüşmemizde de kendi fikrimi dile getirdim. Uçağı vurma kararı kesinlikle yanlıştı. Hatta uçak Türkiye hava sahasına girmiş olsa bile onların dediğin gibi 17 saniyeliğine, sadece 17 saniyeliğine 20 yıldan uzun süredir kurulan karşılıklı ilişkileri roketle vurmak hataydı. Bizim ülkemizin sınırlarına komşu ülkelerin uçaklarının girdiği zamanlar da oldu. Hem de saniyeliğine değil saatlerce. Ama biz onları vurmadık. Bizim için barış daha önemli. Türkiye ve Rusya'nın bu durumu çözmek için bilgeliklerinin yeteceğini umuyorum. Rusya ve Türkiye arasındaki durumun kötüleşmesi hem siyasi hem de ekonomik açıdan iki ülke için de karlı değil.
