Saracık Bağları mevkisinde Ramazan Işık'ın (23) cesedinin bulunması üzerine harekete geçen polis, şüpheli ya da şüphelilerin yakalanması için çalışma başlattı. Öldürülen Işık'ın olaydan önce Sait D, kardeşi Fatih D. ve Halil Ö. ile görüştüğü tespit eden polis, olaya karıştığı ileri sürülen bu kişileri kaldıkları adreslere baskın yaparak gözaltına aldı. Polisteki işlemlerinin ardından adliyeye sevk edilen zanlılardan Sait D, çıkarıldığı mahkemece tutuklandı. Fatih D. ve Halil Ö. ise adli kontrol kaydıyla serbest bırakıldı. Ilgın ilçesi Ilıca Mahallesi Saracık Bağları mevkisinde 6 Kasım'da bir ceset bulunmuş, yapılan incelemede av tüfeğiyle vurularak öldürüldüğü belirlenen kişinin Ramazan Işık (23) olduğu tespit edilmişti.
