Okul müdürü Yasin Öşekci, ilçe genelindeki tüm şehit yakınlarının hiçbir zaman unutulmayacağı anlayışıyla hareket ettiklerini söyledi.
Öğrencilerin, "Bu vatan ne kadar kutsalsa şehitlerimiz ve gazilerimiz de o kadar kutsaldır" duygusuyla hareket ettiğini vurgulayan Öşekci, şehit yakınlarına çiçek, çikolata ve okul tarafından bastırılan "Seydişehir Şehitleri" adlı kitabı hediye ettiklerini kaydetti.
Okulun değişik sınıflarından beş öğrenci, bir öğretmen ve bir idarecileriyle şehit yakınlarını ziyaret ettiklerini anlatan Öşekci, "Şehit aileleriyle olmaktan çok mutluyuz. Öğrencilerimiz şehit yakınlarıyla paylaşımda bulunuyor. Şehit ailelerimizin sıkıntılarını dinliyor ve dualarını alıyorlar. Bizler hiçbir zaman onları unutmadık. Her zaman yanlarında olacağız." diye konuştu.
Öşekci, Merkez İlkokulu olarak şehit yakınlarını ziyaret etmeye devam edeceklerini sözlerine ekledi.
