Turkish Cargo, hizmet ağına Brezilya ve Güney Amerika'nın en büyük sanayi ve ticaret merkezlerinden Sao Paulo'yu ekledi.
Türk Hava Yolları (THY) Basın Müşavirliğinden yapılan açıklamaya göre, Turkish Cargo, Sao Paulo için planladığı tarifeli kargo seferlerine 25 Haziran itibarıyla başlayacak.
Geçen yıl toplam 190 milyar dolar ihracat gerçekleştiren Brezilya, ihracatının büyük bir kısmını Çin ile yaptı. Brezilya, Çin'in yanı sıra birçok Avrupa ve Orta Doğu ülkesine de ürün ihraç ediyor. Genel ihracat ürünleri makine, elektrik-elektronik ekipmanlar, kimyasal ürünler ve otomotiv parçalarından oluşmakla birlikte, halihazırda bu ürünlerin bir kısmı hava kargo ile ihraç edilirken aynı zamanda THY uçakları ile taşınıyor.
Sao Paulo, zengin ürün ve pazar çeşitliliği ile diğer önemli ticaret merkezlerine yakın olması nedeniyle Turkish Cargo için yüksek potansiyele sahip bir pazar konumuna geldi.
Turkish Cargo'nun Latin Amerika'da güçlü bir interline ağına sahip olması sayesinde bölgenin diğer birçok noktasına da hizmet verilmesi hedefleniyor.
