Merkeze bağlı Atatürk Mahallesi Nuri Ortaç Caddesi'nde dün saat 17.00 sıralarında meydana gelen olayda, köy hizmetlerinden emekli Ali Yıldıran, ana cadde altındaki otlukta kendi diktiği ağaçları suladığı sırada yangın çıktı. Alevlere müdahale eden Yıldıran, bir anda yere yığıldı. İhbarla olay yerine sağlık, itfaiye ve polis ekipleri sevk edildi. Sağlık ekipleri, kalp krizi geçirdiği belirlenen Yıldıran'a ilk müdahaleyi olay yerinde yaptı. Daha sonra ambulansla Burdur Devlet Hastanesi'ne götürülen Yıldırani kurtarılamadı. Otluktaki yangın ise itfaiye ekipleri tarafından söndürüldü. Yıldıran'ın cenazesinin Tefenni ilçesine bağlı Hasanpaşa köyünde defnedileceği öğrenildi
